Even the International Monetary Fund (FMN) has removed Kosovo from the US list in the Business and Conflict Situate.
The Central Bank of Kosovo has announced this through a Facebook post.
“Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo (BQK) expresses deep gratitude to the IMF for this significant recognition of the institutional progress and macro-financial sustainability of Kosovo”, the report says.
The World Bank took the same action days ago.
The removal of Kosovo from this Kosovo Central Bank list (BQK) had assessed the country's continued progress in strengthening institutional stability, macroeconomic stability, financial governance and rule of law.
The CEC has listed some of the main benefits expected for Kosovo after that decision.
“Improve international perception of the country's institutional and economic stability; Increasing investor confidence and lowering financial risk assessments; The most favourable opportunity for development financing and access to private capital; and compensates Kosovo's first sovereign credit rating, confirming the country's positive trend in governance and economic foundations”, it says in communique./Periscopi/
