According to information, Popovovic's arrest concerns a statement held in Rahovec, where he used harsh language against the Kosovo Liberation Army (UÇK), naming it a terrorist organisation and comparing its actions to serious international events.
Also, in this statement he has accused international institutions of “failing to justice”, claiming that “the perpetrators of crimes against Serbs have never been punished”.
