Major Ukrainian attacks on Russia caused chaos at major airports serving Moscow on Monday, with thousands of passengers waiting in line or sleeping on the floor after flights were canceled or delayed, Russian media reported.
Videos published by Russian media showed people sleeping on the floor of Sheremetyevo, Russia's most busy airport for the number of passengers, among long lines, wrote foreign media.
Russia's defence ministry said it had down 117 fears overnight, including 30 over the Moscow region, after having toppled 172 fears, including 30 over the Moscow region a day earlier.
Russia's Civil Aviation Authority, Rosaviatsiya, briefly imposed restrictions on overnight flights to Moscow's main airports -- Sheremetyevo, Vukovo, Domodedovo and Zhukovskiy.

Several thousand people remained trapped in Russia's far east due to the cancellation of flights to European Russia, while additional trains set out to bring passengers back to Moscow from the northern Russian town of St Petersburg, Russian media said./Periscopi/
