By German media, the accident had occurred Thursday, when the new one with the Y.H. initials, traveling with her car from Metzingen to Reutlingen, lost control of the vehicle. As a result, the car got off the road and fell several times, undergoing serious injuries.
At the scene, rescue teams, including an emergency helicopter, immediately intervened. The B28 highway was closed for several hours because of the intervention.
Despite doctors' efforts and intensive treatment, the 21-year-old failed to survive. She passed away two days later on Saturday as a result of severe injuries. German authorities officially confirmed her death yesterday.
German police have launched investigations to clarify the causes leading up to the fatal accident.
The event has shocked the Albanian community in Germany, while the deceased family is experiencing a deep pain for their daughter's premature loss./Periscopi/
