Albulen Haxhiu had applied for the transfer of her brother-in-law and four others convicted in the case “Koumanova” to northern Macedonia.
The justice minister in August last year had asked her counterpart from Northern Macedonia that five convicts be transferred to Kosovo prisons, which she manages, showed a letter Paparac has secured. Muhamet Krasniqi, the brother-in-law of Haxhi, is sentenced to life in prison.

In addition to her brother-in-law, Muhamet Krasniqi, on the list for transfer were Bajram Elshani, Beq Bajra, Betim Kabashi and Deme Shehu.
Andy Krasniqi was sentenced by the Constitutional Court of Skopje in 2017 to life imprisonment. 37 members of the group were accused of terrorism.
Life sentence also suffers Becker Bajra from Gjilan and Demas Shehu from Decani.
Meanwhile, Bajram Elshani is sentenced to 40 years in prison, along with Betim Kabashi from Prizren.
The Skopje Foundation Court has sentenced members of the Kumanovo group, accused of terrorism for events on May 9th and 10th of 2015, to a total of 746 years.
Two days of 9 May and 10 May 2015, eight members of the police force and 10 members of the armed group have been killed.
The group had declared that the deployment in Kumanovo was due to Albanian rights violations in Macedonia. /Periscope/
