Acting Justice Minister Albulen Haxhiu has declared that the Justice Ministry (MD) has fulfilled all financial obligations in relation to the judicial protection of detained persons in the Specialised Chambers in The Hague.
According to Haxhiu, so far a total of 32m euros have been earmarked for this purpose, including covering expenditures for legal protection of former Kosovo Liberation Army members facing charges by the Special Court.
The justice ministry has already earmarked 32m euros for the protection of persons staying at The Hague. We have fulfilled all our obligations. All those who say the ministry has halted the funds are slandering this does not stand,” Haxhiu said in a public statement.. /Periscopi/
