Through a Facebook post, Haradinaj says the Bytyqi brothers fought with honour for Kosovo's freedom, bearing witness to unique bravery but ended up brutally murdered by the Serbian state's criminal hand.
“Agron, Yll and Mehmet Bytyqi, American citizens, like many Albanian brothers and sisters, had left the American dream of joining the Liberation Army at the most crucial time for Homeland.
They fought with honour for Kosovo's freedom, witnessing unique bravery, but ended cruelly killed by the Serbian state's criminal hand.
The Serbian state except that it executed them continues with the neglect of crimes and the decoration of war criminals, among them those suspected of killing the Bytyqi Brothers.
Today and every day we share the pain and pride with the Bytyqi family, with the Ahmet base and Mrs. Bahrije and the fellow fighters of the Euro-Atlantic “”. Their pain is our pain. Pride for their sons is pride for the nation.
Glory to life and their work!” wrote the head of the AAK. /Periscopi
