The Justice Ministry reacted today after PDK MP Artan Behrami's statement, who accused incumbent Justice Minister Albulen Haxhiu of rejecting the “Foundation's support for Hashim Thaci's Juridic Protection”, reports Periscope.
In response, the ministry announced that more than 32m euros for protection against Thaci and others have been paid from the start of the process.
Nasim Haradinaj in an answer to Periscope, estimates that the government of Kosovo is not responding to the legal obligations it owes.

KLA war veterans' organisation has sent a letter to incumbent Justice Minister Albulen Hadziu, through which he seeks the immediate provision of the necessary financial means for legal protection of prisoners in The Hague.
In this letter, this organisation expresses deep concern over the lack of institutional financial support for covering prisoner's legal protection expenses at Specialised Chambers in The Hague.
The processes under way in The Hague represent not only individuals but also the true history of our liberation war. Their adequate and professional protection is a fundamental necessity of justice and a moral and institutional obligation of the Republic of Kosovo”, said the letter.
