Fires in Llapashtica, Comuna has an appeal for citizens

The Podujevo municipality is following with concern the spread of fires in several areas of the city, including in the village of Llapashtica.

The mayor of this municipality, Speed Bulliqi, today visited just the Llapashtica, where the fire was distributed on wheat - planted lands.

“Baska with our firemen and police, I closely conveyed the situation, which is doing everything possible to manage it. Fortunately, an even greater damage was averted because of the rapid reaction. The burning of stallors and the cleaning of fiery land during this summer season is a very harmful practice.

In addition to the risk of spreading fire and damage to property, this behavior destroys the living things that live in these spaces and seriously harms earth's pharmony”, Mayor Bulqi said.

He urged citizens to stop this dangerous practice immediately because it poses a serious threat to life, property, and the environment.
