The ombudsman has reacted after the serious event of sexual abuse at Fier, allegedly the father sexually abused his 12-year-old minor daughter.
In an official statement, the institution expresses deep concern for the case, stressing that this event requires not only author punishment but also an institutional and social reflection for strengthening child protection mechanisms in serious social or family situations.
The ombudsman suggests he has launched a comprehensive administrative investigation aimed at identifying any action or inaction of responsible institutions that may have influenced the development or failure to prevent this event.
