This has prompted strong reactions from religious conservatives in Turkey.
The cartoon, published several days after the end of a 12-day conflict between Israel and Iran, seems to indicate the prophet Muhammad and the prophet Moses holding hands in heaven, while missiles flying into a war scene appear below them.
Four cartoonists were arrested on Monday because of the illustration.
The event, according to Bbc, has caused widespread debate in Turkish public opinion and politics, on charges of insulting the sanctity of prophets and inciting religious tensions. /Periscope/
