An earthquake of 4.3 magnitude struck Turkey today.
According to the Natural Disaster Management and Emergency Management Agency (AFAD), the temperature was in Chios (Gemlik) southeast of the Marmara Sea region, near the city of Bursa, at the same point where there were two earthquakes of magnitude 4.2 and 3.9 with a 70-minute difference yesterday.
The earthquake was also felt in Istanbul and its surrounding areas.
“We need to be vigilant, it's an area that is located in an active phase”, Turkish seismologist Suleyman Pambal said./Periscopi/
