Drug smuggling seized in Gjilan region

During a Customs and Police operation, smuggling medicines worth 4,000 euros has been confiscated in Gjilan.

According to a communiqué for the media, during detailed control at the interior facilities of the drug store, hidden drugs have been found, for which no customs documentation was presented. These products have allegedly been illegally introduced into Kosovo territory, bypassing import procedures and customs duties.

According to initial estimates, the value of seized drugs totals over 4,000 euros.

Kosovo Customs has initiated investigative procedures against the subject's owner, as well as has announced relevant organs for further legal actions./Periscopi/
