He has made that known to Periscope the chairman of the Kosovo Communists Association (AKK), Sahan Ibrahimi.
Ibraham has shown that this situation is seriously damaging the citizens' trust in public institutions.
This technical collapse is happening in an extremely sensitive period, when our exile is returning home and when thousands of citizens urgently need documents for school records, employment and other vital services. Instead of transparency and immediate actions, we have seen a complete institutional silence from the central level of ʹ without any public notice, without any official clarification and no act of responsibility. This approach is incompatible and is seriously damaging citizens' trust in public institutions. The municipalities have been placed in a difficult position, facing citizens' dissatisfaction with services that are not in their competence or control, but stemming from the central level's inaction in maintaining a vital administrative system”, he said.
Ibrahmi has said that the Kosovo Communist Association is urgently seeking from the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Civil Record Agency, restoring the operation of the system.
<x) To come up with an official announcement and publicly clarify the reasons for this failure, as well as measures being taken for immediate and sustainable solutions; to take institutional responsibility for blocking over 90% of administrative requirements in all municipalities”, he has said of Periscope.
Ibrahmi has said that failure to operate the central network system is not a technical error, but according to him it is “institutional failure”.
The “municipalities of the Republic of Kosovo will not remain silent in the face of this responsibility. We are and will remain on the side of citizens and will strongly insist on the immediate resolution of this situation that is undermining the rights and everyday life of our citizens. This is not just a technical problem, but it is an institutional failure that is jeopardising the basic functioning of the state and the right to access public services”, he has said further. /Periscopi/
