Kosovo has the right to benefit from pre-finance funds once all agreements are ratified, but for that it must first be introduced in the Parliament and the new government be formed.
The growth “Plant is a limited-term instrument, adopted for the period 20245027, and it is in Kosovo's interest that ratification take place as quickly as possible so that the country can take full advantage of the opportunities this Plan offers for its citizens,” is said in the European Commission's message. It is also stressed that only after meeting all conditions can the release of funds be made, reports the report. RTK, broadcast Periscope.
The growth plan is considered the European Union's most ambitious package for the Western Balkans. It's a 6 billion-euro fund that will be distributed in the form of grants and loans under favourable conditions.
In relation to the number of residents, Kosovo is expected to be the largest beneficiary, with over 880m euros to benefit from this package. /Periscope/
