“Three days without bread, with black body from beating” - The thrilling confession of a survivor of sexual violence during the war

Alone and without any information about their fate, she fell into the hands of Serbian soldiers, who took her to her husband's uncle's house where her period of severe suffering began.

She relates that Serbian soldiers, numbering three or four, had physically and sexually violated her.

I surrender, I'm on my way... they left me in their hands. I don't know what they were in, whether they were drug addicts or what, they were dealing with people. All my breasts are blacked out by the machine guns that beat me with them”, she showed me tears in the eyes.

Following the confession, she said that the soldiers were also armed with knives that they used to tear their underwear apart before the act of violence.

All I've got is my panties cracked with a knife and I've been put down... I've put on a dress... from there and I know what happened, I just know they left me in a couple of hours. ”

For three days and nights, she says that she had remained without food and water, falling into an alarming state of health.

After three nights of violence and torture, Serbian soldiers had released him. With the last remaining forces, she made her way out of town in search of children and salvation.

This painful confession comes at a time when the wounds of war have not yet healed for many women who were used as the object of sexual violence during the war in Kosovo, crimes that continue to seek justice and full recognition.
