The suspected person, citizens who came from Germany, had initially declared he was importing kitchen equipment, cabinets and cabinets as part of his personal belongings.
But during the detailed search, customs officials in Mitrovica have discovered that it was actually about professional dental equipment, worth 72,461.23 euros, for which the person had no license for import or even regular documentation.
Following the discovery of this smuggling attempt, customs investigators have immediately launched investigative actions in co-ordination with the Prosecutor until, at the order of the State Prosecutor, the suspected person has been arrested, while legal procedures are under way.
Kosovo customs continues to be engaged in preventing illegal activities and protecting the market and safety of citizens. / Periscope/
