Two years ago we had written that, then, 69-year-old Sanader could stand behind bars until the age of 80 if the court did not approve early release, due to three decisions of formal form.
For extracting money from public companies for the HDZ black fund and for unregistered donations to the party's ark, Sanader has been sentenced to 7 years in prison.
For the research and acquisition of 17.5m kuna (about 2.3m euros) from Stjepan Fioliq in exchange for favouring the sale of a building for the Ministry, he received 6 years in prison.
