What I see is that in Drenas, The PDK has made a decision not to compete with current chairman Ramiz Ladrovci, but with Petrit Hajdari.
In the PDK's announcement, the candidate for Skyright chairman will no longer be Fadil Nura, but will compete with Sami Lushtaku.
As for the two northern municipalities, The PDK has run the two current mayors -- Izmir Zeqiri for Zubin Potok and Ilir Peci for Zvecan.
The Kosovo Democratic Party expresses particular gratitude for the contribution of four current mayors: Bedri Hamza (Mitrovica), Ramiz Ladrovci (Drenas), Fadil Nura (Skennderaj) and Besim Ilazi (Cacanic), who are not candidates in these elections, but who during their mandate have provided effective governance for citizens and a dignified representation of PDK values”, the announcement said.
In the move, PDK reportedly will also compete in four other municipalities -- Obilic, Junik, Klokot and Mamusa -- only with lists of candidates for the municipal assembly, while in Gracanica -- will compete on a joint list with all other Albanian parties.

The PDK approves the list of mayoral candidates: It changes four current heads
The head of the Democratic Party of Kosovo has held the next meeting today, in which recent political developments in the country are discussed, preparations for the October 12th local elections, and the final list of mayoral candidates has been adopted.
After completing the 30-day deadline set by the Constitutional Court for Constitution of the Parliament, The PDK estimates that, unfortunately, Kosovo is already walking into an unknown constitutional, institutional, state and social territory. In this vague terrain, Kosovo is not only lost in internal coordinates, but increasingly unoriginated on the international map.
The PDK will wait for the Constitutional Court's act on the subject sent by our deputies, in hopes that the way will be cleared up for establishing current and legitimate institutions.
As for the 12 October local elections, the Democratic Party of Kosovo enters this powerfully mobilised process and aimed not only at regaining municipalities where it currently rules with responsibilities and concrete results, but also to win in other important municipalities, where citizens seek a new vision and a better government for their future.
In the spirit of this commitment, the PDK's Headship, according to Article 48, paragraph 13 of the Party's Statut, has voted and adopted today the final list of 31 mayoral candidates.
For the PDK branches in Decan, Drenas, Gjilan, Istog, Yunik, Kamenica, Malisic, Obilic, Podujevo, Rahovec and Suhareka, which have assigned organs or are defined according to the PDK Steering Council's decision of March 28th 2022, regulation has been implemented for determining criteria and selection of mayoral candidates, approved by the Steering Council PDK.
Consequently, for some of these branches, which have had more than one mayoral candidate, secret voting procedures have been developed, according to criteria defined in regulations and in the statute.
