KSF Colonel Bekim Zejnullahu has officially accepted the post of non-resident defence attaché of the Republic of Kosovo in the Republic of Slovenia.
During his stay in Ljubljana, Colonel Zamenu has been hosted at an official meeting by Republika Srpska Ambassador to Slovenia Valdet Sadiku, where he discussed priority areas of co-operation under the diplomatic mission of defence attaché, the Defence Ministry reports.
In addition, it is known that Colonel Zejmenu has made the first official visits to Slovenia's Defence Ministry and Slovenia's General Staff of Armed Forces, where it has conducted constructive meetings on intensifying co-operation in the field of security and defence between the two friendly states.
“Colonel Zejrullahu is a resident attaché in the Federal Republic of Germany, and from there it also covers the Republic of Slovenia. The discreditment of the new Defence Atase marks an important step in strengthening Kosovo's bilateral relations, and in reinforceing the institutional presence of the Republic of Kosovo in the field of defence outside the country, said the Defence Ministry's announcement. This minister has also expressed gratitude for the work and professional contribution made by the first defence attaché in Slovenia, Lieutenant Colonel Besim Gashi, who, according to the ministry, has played an important role in establishing and consolidating the co-operation so far. /Periscope/
