The company found in its profit report that, as part of its ongoing “age of innovation”, it will launch in the autumn a “product made of American cane sugar” as part of its gas. Several versions of Coca-Cola already use cane sugar, including Coca-Cola, which is sold in Mexico.
This extra “is designed to complete the company's strong basic portfolio and offer more choices in case and preferences”, Coca-Cola said in a statement.
Last week, Trump said Coca-Cola has <x0r agreed to” use cane sugar in her drinks. But Tuesday's announcement reveals that Coca-Cola's main recipe is not changing and will continue to use high-fructose corn syrup. Instead, the company will create a special Coca-Cola product that includes cane sugar.
U.S. Coca-Cola has been made of high concentration corn syrup, a component against which Trump Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., campaigned.
