It for the EO, she said this whole situation is the result of Prime Minister Kurti's political selfishness and the ambition of Minister Haxhiu to become head of the Parliament.
It's a scenario we couldn't imagine in 2008, when we declared independence and accepted powerful international recognition. We observe the consequences every day. We now six months do not talk about 200 thousand Kosovo pensioners who, at the end of the month, must choose between medicines and food. We don't talk about thousands of teachers and education sector workers who face survival challenges. We don't talk about cops, we don't talk about soldiers, we don't talk about doctors, we don't talk about 140 thousand private sector workers whose jobs are being threatened by the arbitrary decisions of Kurti government in the energy sector. Now six months we talk about a man's ego: Kurti and Haxhi's ambition to become chief governor”, Citaku said, broadcast Periscopi.
It named the current situation as the unimaginable “for a state that has gained freedom and independence with so much sacrifice, while accusing the current leaders of failing to preserve Western alliances and undermine international co-operation.
“is a completely unimaginable situation for a state that has won freedom 26 years ago and independence in 2008. This freedom and independence has come at a high cost, with a sacrifice of generations that culminated in the Kosovo Liberation Army war. It has also come as a result of powerful support from the Western world. Unfortunately, the current cast of Kosovo institutions has beenlittled by the alliances and ruined the bridges of co-operation, which we have built with much effort and much sacrifice”, Citaku said.
She recalled that Kosovo is currently under European Union sanctions and that it has been isolated even from traditional allies, including Albania.
“Today Kosovo is under sanctions, no integration and recognition. It is under sanctions from the European Union and has irritated reports with all, even with Albania,” said Citaku.
