Police reports say that in two separate cases, two foreign citizens have been detained in an attempt to leave Kosovo with about 375 cigarette boxers of different types, undeclared and without banners.
The passengers had hidden cigarettes in their suitcases and delivered them to the check for flight to London. The seized amounts include blue, white, red, and other known brands. In both cases, goods have been discovered in co-operation with the Passenger Information Unit (PIU)”.
All products have been seized and cases processed for further investigation by Kosovo Customs. Kosovo police and Customs remain committed to fighting smuggling and protecting legitimacy in the country”, the report said. /Periscope/
