The Ministry of Finance, Labour and Transfers has approved the roadmap about implementation of the Children's and Lehona States.
The updated guide reportedly says that all children between the ages of 0 and 16 who are residents in Kosovo have the right to benefit from additions for children.
The families of one or two children benefit 20 euros a month for each child. Families with 3 or more children benefit 30 euros a month for each child, the report says.
Application according to the ministry is made by the mother of the child through the e-Kosovo platform, and the means go into her bank account.
In cases where the mother has passed away or is not a citizen of Kosovo, the father or legal guardian may apply with the relevant documentation. In specific situations like: Divorced parents, the mother has abandoned the child, the custody has been given to the father by court decision or by the QPS the application is made by the father in the role of legal guardian”.
In cases where the child is in residential shelter, then the application is made by the shelter entity, respectively, the employee authorized by the entity, which opens a bank account for the child where the addition tools are deposited for children”, the report says.
