CEC shows how the voting centre can be changed from one municipality to another

The Central Election Commission has announced that a change of the Voting Centre can be made from one municipality to another, but this operation is not directly possible by the CEC, as according to this institution, this is related to the official declaration of residence by citizens/voters. “Beyond the CEC, voters, if you wish, can change the polling centre only [...]
“Beyond the CEC, voters, if they want, can change the polling centre only within the municipality. But to move from a municipality polling centre to the polling centre in another municipality, the voter must change his address to the Civil Status Office or to the E-Kosovo platform. After confirming the change of address from the Civil Status Service, the new address is reflected in the Central Civil registry”, said the CEC's announcement.
Furthermore, according to the CEC “any change in residential address by 29 August 2025, it will be reflected on the CEC platform https://qv.kqz-x.org and therefore on the Vote List”.
Also, the CEC has announced that by 29 August 2025, The CEC will continue to provide service to voters who want to change the polling centre within the municipality.
During the period, which began on June 28th and will end on August 29th, citizens will rightly be able to learn/verify their polling centre and if they want to change it, set as close as possible in their municipality:
• Through the CEC electronic platform: https://qv.kqz-x.org or
• Presenting the application to the Municipal Election Commission in the municipality where the voter is registered.
