The detainee is citizen B. H., 63, resident of Fushe-Stane, who allegedly lit fire on a pasture surface, during his work as a shepherd, at the place called “Fushe Stane”.
The fire, assisted by wind and high temperatures, has spread rapidly, including an area of about 600 acres [600 ha] of pastured and vegetation in areas of Mullin's Grec and Cherakua Qafa all within the boundaries of Dajt National Protection Zone.

Tirana/Identified, captured and cuffed yesterday's fireman, in the protected area of the Gropa Mountain.
It allegedly lit fire on a pasture area, causing the burning of some 600 hectares of vegetation and natural surfaces in Dajti National Park, the 63-year-old man was arrested.
After the announcement received that at the site called “Mali with Gropa” was on fire, the respective services immediately went to the scene.
As a result of investigative and operational actions conducted immediately after the event, police Commissioner No. 4 enabled the identification, capture and arrest of the suspected author, citizens B. H., 63, resident of Fush-Stane.
From preliminary investigations, this citizen allegedly found that during his work as a shepherd in the area, he lit fire on a pasture surface, at the site called “Faw Stane”, in the area of Mount Gropa, which, favored by the strong wind and high temperatures, has resulted in the burning of some 600 hectares of land with different pastures and plants, in areas such as the Valley of Mullin Gracle, the Qershi area, which is located within the borders of Dayy National Park, which makes parts of the Nature Protection Area.
The procedure materials referred to the Prosecution for further actions, for criminal activity “Fire destruction of forest and forest environment”.
The Tirana Police Local Directorate appeals to all citizens that in no case light fires, not intentionally or carelessly, as they will face the law. Police invite citizens to report to 112 each case of this criminal or illegal activity as a whole, guaranteeing anonymity, rapid and impartial response.
