President Vjosa Osmani has hosted the United Kingdom Parliament deputies Martin Vickers and Paul Foster, simultaneously representatives of Kosovo's friendship groups in the British Parliament, on Friday.
During the meeting, according to a presidency announcement, excellent relations between Kosovo and the United Kingdom were discussed, as well as concrete ways of deepening further interstate co-operation, especially in the economic and defence partnership, strengthening Kosovo's international position and advancing the country's Euro-Atlantic goals.
Osmani reportedly thanked MPs Vickers and Foster for their firm commitment to Kosovo's support and stressed the importance of further strengthening the partnership between the two countries.
“Deputet Martin Vickers, who is Chairman of the Interparty Group for Kosovo and Albania ( All-Party Parliamentary Group for Kosovo and Albania, and MP Paul Foster, deputy executive chairman of “Labour Friends of Kosovo” reaffirmed their strong support for the people and the state of Kosovo”, the announcement said. /Periscope/
