Asked whether he intended to supply Ukraine with weapons that could reach deeper on Russian territory, Trump replied: “We are not looking to do this”
Ukraine was awaiting further details Tuesday on US military equipment worth <x0milliard $” promised by Donald Trump, amid confusion about how many Patriot air defence systems will be sent. On Monday, Trump said an unidentified site was ready to secure immediately “17 Patriot”.
It is believed that Ukraine so far owns six “bater” functional air defence Patriot radar and truck-based launch systems that launch missiles.
It was not clear whether Trump was referring to the launch systems, the interceptive missiles that are their ammunition, or if he understood the difference. /Periscope/
