“We just reinforced the criminal speculation we've done for some time for 17 criminal charges for all former ministers and prime minister now in office. Who, even under the Supreme Court's recent trial where it was very clear that the illegals are making decisions and holding two positions that of deputy and acting minister or prime minister”, Zogaj said on the FIVE show.
He has criticised the government's stance in office on the Supreme Court's decision, naming it an unprecedented intervention in justice.
The “is of regret, even concern, where the government for the first time in Kosovo's history of sovereign and democratic state Government attacks independent courts, this is unprecedented and very disturbing. The government's courts are attacking its country in that form, and we condemn this form of communication but also of action. The government has to do the opposite, support the courts even to let them make decisions, not attack them, and try to denigru as this government is currently operating”, Zogaj has declared.
He called on the Special Prosecutor to launch serious investigation into alleged offences, adding that the Supreme Court's judgment strengthens the legal basis for investigation and responsibility.
“We asked the Special Prosecutor to take action and start with serious investigations, but also measures they should take”, he added. /Periscope/
