Democratic Party of Kosovo MP Artan Behrami has sharply criticised the Special Court's acceptance of documents obtained by the Serbian MUP and other Serbian institutions.
According to Behram, the move is unacceptable and is legitimising war crimes, genocide and ethnic cleansing committed by the Serbian MUP during the war in Kosovo.
It is unacceptable that an institution like the Special Court accepts documents and disinformations from the Serbian MUP, which is responsible for war crimes in Kosovo, for genocide, for ethnic cleansing, for numerous massacres in Kosovo. With the admission of these documents, the Special Court is unfortunately legitimising all this violence and all this ethnic cleansing that the Serbian MUP has done to civilians, mainly to Albanian civilians in Kosovo”, he has declared.
Otherwise, in Kosovo's Specialised Chambers ( DPSK) in The Hague has been made a decision to accept several documents in evidence, at the request of the Specialised Prosecutor's Office (ZPS) in the case of Hashim Thaci, Kadri Veselin, Rexhep Selimi and Jakup Krasniqi.
These documents have been accepted on May 29, 2025, but the decision has been made public on July 25, 2025.
The accepted documents are divided into three polls, which in the latest complaint are mostly documents allegedly obtained from the Serbian State Security Service, Serbia's Interior Ministry and other structures of this state.
