The last three weeks of late July and the beginning-August will be intensive work for the KLA's four-party defence teams before Hashim Thaci, Kadri Veselini, Jakup Krasniqi and Rexhep Selimi return to court Tuesday on August 19th.
On that day, the preparation conference for Protection is scheduled, when they will eventually reveal the number of witnesses and the list of evidence they will use, if they have to present the case.
This is in line, according to the accusation, Thaci should be ready to call witnesses as of August 25th. It's 25 of them that Jakup Krasniqi's aim is to invite until Veselin and Selim are not claiming to call someone else.
Defense has another problem. The Sí court has given additional time even to show which documents it will use, which can affect witness invitations.
This is due to the fact that a request of 2022 to international institutions for classified documents was accepted in May and June 2025, while these and other expected answers should be revealed as evidence for the prosecution and the Court by July 21st.
A day later, yet another conference on the progress of the issue regarding these reports is held.
The deadlines, chief judge Smith, have placed them despite still having no verdict on the Defence motion for the collapse of specific Aktakuza points.
