Albin Kurti's statements to Thaci and Wessel, Special Court: We are challenged by politics and public comments

Special Court spokeswoman Angela Greep, in this regard, has said specialised rooms are focused on implementation of the mandate, ensuring fair, impartial and secure judgments.
Greep has also clarified that the Special Court is challenged by political developments and public comments, and has said that they mapped on them.
The specialised “Chambers are a court that is fully focused on implementing its mandate to ensure fair, impartial and secure judgments, despite political developments or public comments. We do not comment on the political statement”, Greep said of the Express Journal.
As far as the rules at The Hague detention centre are concerned, Greep has said they are in line with international law with human rights and that persons in custody are offered reasonable means to maintain family members or other persons through visits, telephones or even letters.
The rules regulating the detention centres are in line with international law on human rights and internationally accepted standards and offer the detainees reasonable means to maintain personal relations with family members and other persons through visits, calls and correspondence. Restrictions on visits and communications between the detainees and others are imposed only with the aim of ensuring security and good order in the detention centre; to prevent disorders or crime; or to protect the health and safety of others”, she has said.
