Spiropal there said close parliamentary co-operation between the two states would continue through exchange of high-level visits, friendship groups, parliamentary commissions and MPs.
This interaction will also increase under the challenges of the Parliament's leadership in the European integration process, for which we have the political and technical support of Bulgaria's National Assembly. We Albanians are proud to have a friend and partner country like Bulgaria, which is one of the most powerful supporters of our national goal of joining the European Union within 2030”.
“Albania is at the forefront of candidate countries towards the EU, and we are pleased to find that this plan, which has won the support of the European Parliament, the European Commission and the parliaments of many member states, also has the determined support of the National Assembly and Bulgaria's”, Spiropali said.
The same said: “Speeding up membership of Western Balkan countries, as a process based on credit and an enlargement priority, is important for the European Union itself. We live in turbulent times, and a larger Europe means a stronger and safer Europe”. /
