Alarming situations with fires on the territory of the capital and the wider municipality: 7 brigades on the ground, additional firefighters have been engaged

Firefighters are on the ground interfering with several active fires, according to the Komunas.

“Alarmed by fires  The Directorate for Security and Emergency Agency reports that the current situation is presented alarmingly due to the large number of fires on capital territory and beyond.  To this point, 12 fire cases have been recorded, while seven fire brigade teams are currently on the ground by interfering in active shelters”, the report says.

Because of the situation, additional firefighters have reportedly been engaged.

“Also, due to the heavy situation in the Podujevo municipality, a relief team has been sent, while in the village of Kromir of the Lipjan municipality, two fire crews from the capital have been engaged. The Directorate for Security and Emergency Emergency is closely following the situation and will continue to react in real time as necessary” says in the statement.

The Directorate for Security and Emergency in the Pristina municipality invites citizens to be extremely careful, since the risk of fire explosions is too high as a result of high temperatures and dry weather conditions”.
