The armed forces said in a Facebook statement that the F-7 plane suffered a mechanical defect after it was set up for training shortly after 1: 00 local time. The pilot is among the dead, the air force added.
More than 50 people, including children and adults, were sent to hospital with burns, a doctor at the National Institute of Fergies and Plastic Surgery told reporters. The age diagnosis for students attending school is between four and 18.
