The family and citizens demanded full transparency in investigations and punishment of the responsible, while protesters gathered peacefully in front of the police station to express their pain and revolt.
Agon Zamenu lost his life in police hands in Lipjan last week, preliminary investigations and footage by security cameras clearly indicate that Agon's death was the consequence of the excessive force exercised by five police officers during the intervention, who have already been arrested and investigated as suspects.
The case has sparked widespread debate in society on the use of police violence and the need for substantial reforms in the justice system and the approach of citizens by security institutions.
