While we are in the last days of July, and the deadline for adopting the second part of the budget is approaching, the AGK and the EFJ are urgently calling on Kosovo's incumbent government to immediately take steps to spend the budget that is owned by RTK.
In failure to do so, the basic functioning of public broadcaster RTK is questioned, including providing information and news to the audience.
AGK and EFJ again stress the importance of the unhindered work of journalists, cameramen and all RTK employees in public interest.
AGK and EFJ repeat their call to the Caretaker Government: Allot the budget for RTK
The Association of Journalists of Kosovo (AJK) and the European Federation of Journalists (EFJ) indicates that no available action has been taken over the need to prevent the financial agreement of the public broadband, RTK.
As we provided the end of July and the source for alerting the second part of the budget is looming, AJK and EFJ make an emergency to the Government of Kosovo's career to make sure that it's taken care of the logget to RTK.
Failure to do so puts at risk the basic campaigning of the Public Broadcasting, RTK, including building of nine and information to the public.
AJK and EFJ reports the import of the unhindered need of journals, camera operators, and all RTK experts in the public interest.
