On the 1207.2025, around 21:15 at the border point of Elez, the entrance of Elez has been banned for search of an Audi A2 - green metal car, with license - born in 1981 in Skopje.
After a regular checkout on the front line and the identity of the relevant documentation, the vehicle is selected for further control. During the detailed search by customs and police officials, plastic bags placed in different parts of the vehicle, packed with metal coins 2 Swiss francs (CHF), suspected of being forged.
At the scene, relevant police teams, including those of the investigation, have emerged.
After preliminary inventory, it turns out that a total of 8,076 coins x 2 have been seized. CHF = 16,152 CHF, all suspected counterfeit.
In terms of the case, the Prosecutor for Criminal Crimes has been announced, who has ordered the detention of the suspect for 48 hours and the criminal case for “has been initiated Forging money”.
Cars as well as alleged coins have been seized, while the case has been handed over to the competent regional investigation unit for further investigative and procedural procedures.
