Just before the 42nd session, KLA's OVL sends message to Kurt after the attacks he made on Thaci and Wessel

Shortly before the start of the constitutional session, the KLA War Veterans' Organisation has reacted to the KLA blockade and the prime minister's statements in resignation, Albin Kurti, for former KLA leaders being tried at The Hague. According to Kurti, Hashim Thaci and Kadri Veselini continue to provide directives for political developments in Kosovo through visits that PDK officials hold there.
For this statement, the KLA's OVL said they would remain silent, while Kurt was accused of “moral treachery”.
“We strongly want the recent statement by former Prime Minister Albin Kurti, who has publicly publicly attacked former KLA leaders Hashim Thaci and Kadri Veselini, claiming they are providing <x1-> political instructions from prison”. This attitude is not only politically disgusting but also morally dangerous. Albin Kurti, instead of protecting his country's citizens from international injustice, chose to join charges fabricated against our holy war for freedom. This is a moral betrayal of the past and the future of Kosovo”, the organisation's response said.
“O V L KLA will not be silent in the face of these dangerous developments. We will stand firm in defense of the values of war, the right of our people for freedom and dignity, and of any warrior who is today unjustly kept away from the country to keep vile political scenarios” alive.
Likewise, the OVL said they denounced institutionals created by a political blockade <x0 unwarranted and arrogant”.
It is unacceptable at the time when Kosovo citizens face uncertainty, poverty and external threats, political parties -- namely, the winning party -- to play the fate of the state only for the interests of power. This behavior is embarrassing and harmful to democracy. KLA fighters gave no blood for a blocked Kosovo, nor for blind politics and destructions”.
The KLA's OVL said these two “major issues that are undermining democratic order, state unity and the dignity of our liberation war” addressed “with deep concern” on July 4th 2025, at its regular meeting. /Periscope/
