The 40-year-old dies after the tractor incident in Bresana Dragas, police details

News for Periscope Kosovo Police spokesman for the Prizren region Shaqir Bytyqi has confirmed it.

Bytyqi said the 40-year-old was originally sent from his brother to the centre of family medicine in Dragash, and then due to severe injuries had been sent to Prizren Hospital.

On July 18, 2025, about 09:50, police have been notified by the Family Medicine Centre in Bresana, Dragas than a male person, D.A. (40 years of age) has been brought to the center by his brother with serious bodily injuries. After offering first aid, he has been sent by ambulance to Prizren Regional Hospital, where, later, because of his injuries, he has died”, he said.

Bytyqi has indicated according to initial information, the victim was working with tractors in the mountainous area of Bresana village, Dragas at the moment of the incident. The circumstances of the event are still unclear.

The “Police have reacted immediately, made it to the scene, secured the area and announced relevant investigative units.
