Money from the diaspora in Kosovo reached 530m euros during the first five months of 2025, down from 513m euros in the same period last year, the Central Bank announced, citing preliminary data.
During May alone, remittances from abroad rose by 7% on an annual basis, amounting to 126.6m euros, reportedly publishing Tuesday's Central Bank data.
Compared to April, shipments in May marked a 13% increase.
During 2024, foreign shipments to Kosovo had increased by 1.1%, totaling 1.35 billion euros. /Periscopi/
