So Dukagnani television has requested access to their salaries in the Assembly through the Law on Access to Public Documents.
This institution has provided the information for April 15th through May 13th.
Salaries are huge. Despite complaints following hearings that everything has become absurd, none of the 120 MPs have given up their salaries.
For 16 presentations, which are not even two full hours within May, 1 hour and 40 minutes, MPs totaled 230 thousand euros, or about 1860 euros each.
Some have various experienced additions but not even labor.
Based on data provided by the Assembly of Kosovo, the MP's salary list also does not reveal the salaries of 17 deputies who are part of the government, including incumbent Prime Minister Albin Kurti, who has decided to receive the prime minister's salary, minister or deputy minister.
Television has also applied in Government for access to public documents, to see the salaries of 17 government officials, who are also deputies, but this institution until the release of this chronic has not offered them, except that it is considering the case.
Meanwhile, even in April, 48 Parliament deputies had received the transitional salary, which they spent 95 thousand and 633 euros.
“Deputies Haxhi Avdyli and Adriana Matoshi have not received transitional salaries for April, as according to ATK they have generated further revenues. They have also been given a halt to the transitional salary realised in March 2025 and by March 22nd, 2025. However, former Chairman Konjufca and former vice-presidents, in addition to the basic pay for April, have also been paid for maintaining leadership positions. By April 15th, the chairman and vice-presidents have continued to receive the Parliament's chairman's salary and deputy chairmanship, since they have fulfilled the same transitary additions, they have accomplished the same by April 15th, 2025, while from April 16th, they have realised the Assembly MP's salary. Meanwhile, from the May monthly salary, former vice-presidents Enver Hoxhaj and Kujtim Shala were denied payment worth 189.94 euros, as during April 15th through April 19th, they have offered no written evidence that no further financial revenues” are generated.
On June 30th, the salaries of this month, which, therefore more than 230 thousand euros, have been spent on MPs who, for every 48 hours, gather to continue the constitutional hearing but who are not able to finish it.
Thus, in total from 15 April to 30 June, the state budget, the salaries of MPs, without the 17 members of the government, cost more than half a million euros, or 555 thousand and 633 euros.
