Alija Arslan, 34-year-old from Northern Macedonia, a declare international citizen and sentenced to 20 years in prison for international drug trafficking, has been caught at the entrance to Albania.
The 34-year-old was captured at the Qafe Border Cross Point, until, according to the State Police, he was declared international search by Interpol Bern/Switzerland, in the process of an order issued by Canton Argau's Public Prosecutor's Office.
According to police, Arslan has been sentenced to 20 years in prison for criminal acts linked to international narcotics trafficking, envisioned by Article 19 of the Act on Narcotics and Psicotrope Substance of the Swiss Criminal Code.
Interpol Tirana, in co-operation with Interpol Bern/Switzer, continues operations on his extradition to Switzerland./Periscopi/
