A 13-year-old Kosovo boy, with initials D.S., has been diagnosed with leukemia and is currently being treated in France's town of Nancy.
Fortunately, the hospital there has taken over all medical expenses for its treatment. However, his family is facing great financial difficulties to cope with daily living in France.
The minor's father, Idriz Shala, has called for public assistance, demanding support from citizens willing to cover vital expenses that are not covered by the hospital as food, accommodation and transportation.

We are very grateful that the boy is receiving the treatment he needs, but facing a living in a foreign country without income is very difficult. Any help, however small, would be a great relief for us,” he said.
