While questions are directly related to citizens' rights to selling their own energy, to business complaints following two major protests, as well as to mistakes in programming winters affecting fees that citizens pay, despite insistence, Z. The RHR has chosen silence.
These questions were sent to Z. RREE 17 June from the KP and until the moment of publication, today 26 June, there is no response.
Although many families in Kosovo invest in solar panels and use them only one or two months a year, Z The RRE has not yet clarified whether citizens will be allowed to sell this excess energy on the public network.
Currently, there is no official mechanism allowing families to benefit from such panels, despite regional trend and changing market situation.
In this regard, in questions of when will the RER allow citizens to sell electricity, but no response was received.
Another question addressed to Z The RRE is related to the recent protests of several major businesses, which have entered the free electricity market without any transitional phase.
The first protest was held on May 29th, followed by another on June 11th, where businesses stressed that around 400 factories review the closure due to the increase in energy costs.
However, Z The RRE and Government have not yet taken any visible steps to address these requirements.
In this context, Z RRE has also been asked whether this office will consider business demands after two publicly held protests.
In addition, some citizens have complained on their social networks that the time of consumption does not match the rates.
For this, KP has sent the question to Z RRE, to get information about why this is happening. But, even though more than a week went by, we didn't accept answers from the ERE.
This caused deep discontent. Kosovo's Economic Oda, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Kosovo and Oda and other businesses demanded postponement of the decision for a minimally one year and subsidisation for the increase in costs, otherwise further protests warned.
According to them, while cheap energy is expected to be applied after 11: 00 p.m., distributors (exampers) are not synchronized with real time, paying them at the most expensive price even during hours when, according to the rules, they have to pay cheaper. /Periscope.
