Political analyst Visar Ymer has commented on the situation created after the elections in Kosovo and the protracted blockade in forming the government. He has estimated that attracting the international factor from efforts to resolve the political crisis is a reflection of Kurti's behaviour of international partners.
According to Ymer, in Debat Plus, incumbent Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Vetevendosje must reflect more political responsibilities and stop moralising approach to opponents.
Ymer has stressed two main reasons that, according to him, affect the current institutional blockade in Kosovo: the urgency of forming institutions due to Kosovo's dialogue and the international ambassadors' reserves to co-operate with a government led by Albin Kurti.
The “are two natures: the first emergency for establishing institutions, and especially coalitions, have often been related to dialogue. And second in Kosovo likely a considerable part of the ambassadors do not want co-operation with a government when led by a person who did not have good co-operation. They taste bad in cooperation,” declared Ymer.
He suggested that the political crisis is not only issues of numbers in the Assembly, but also the consequence of a fragile report with international partners,
When Kurti and the rest of Vetevendosje have to show up to others and tell me that we are politicians like others, when we have nothing else... We have not come down from heaven, we are not holy, and we change like others,” Ymer said.
He added that Kurti, despite the numbers in the Assembly, has failed to create the government even after three months, implying that the problem is either lack of will or inability to build political coalitions.
When you strip off a politician's aura, you're not a politician. Of the 57 deputies only need 450 more to make the government. Three parties are not Vetevendosje. It's not a fishing business”, he added.
Ymer also criticised the weakened reports with the internationals, citing the government's contemptuous attitudes towards their recommendations in recent years.
We have rejected things from their recommendations. We kicked them and you're naive and you don't understand the situation. We're a sovereign state. Now Kurt is calling the internationals. ”
He also cited Kurt's recent meeting with the QUINT ambassadors, where the establishment of the government is discussed as an indication of a delayed and pale stance by international partners on the issue.
