On this white Friday, I have made an important and felt decision: yes, I am returning to our mayoral race,” has declared Tahiri, stressing that his return is not guided by personal ambition, but by a sense of responsibility and dedication to the city.
In his address, he stressed that there are still many unfinished jobs and projects that await realisation. “Vushtrria needs no show, needs work,” he said, adding that he feels a strong connection to his city and citizens.
Tahiri recalled his time in office, saying he has worked hard to keep his promises and that he has lacked daily communication with citizens and the energy of municipal life.
He urged citizens to give confidence once again to continue working on a “Honest, Human and Developing Vision”.
Local elections in Kosovo are expected to be held in the autumn of this year. /Periscope/

I missed you every day. I've missed the voice of the average citizen looking for solutions, I've missed the energy of our schools, the spirit of cooperation with our farmers, and most of all, I've missed the opportunity to serve, not to rule.
When I was on duty, I didn't promise miracles, but I worked day and night to fulfill the promises you believed me. Today, I invite you to give Vushtrri another chapter of enlightenment a straight, honest and human twist.
There's no need for a show. He needs a job. He needs someone who knows every alley, every neighborhood, every problem he's not afraid to face. I'm ready. I feel more than ever, I'm ready to continue what we started together.
With humility, open heart, and clear vision, I seek your faith again. For the power we love, for the future of our children, for a city that swells development and dignity.
