In recent days, according to the Kosovo Hydrometeorological Institute, our territory was involved in a wave of heat with maximum daily temperatures fluctuating between 29-39 degrees Celsius.
The IHMK says that this meteorological situation has been characterised by hot air measures, which have contributed to the significant rise in temperatures on average values for this period of year.
But according to seismic predictions, a marked change in weather conditions is expected over the weekend, which will be accompanied by a significant drop in maximum temperatures.
“This change relates to the penetration of fresher air measures from the north and northwest of the continent, which will affect gradual weather stabilisation”, the IHPC says.
The institute says that on Saturday it is designed to hold sunny weather and scarce clouds.
The macrometers will be moved between 12-18 degrees Celsius, while the maximum of the day are set to move between 26-29 degrees Celsius. It will blow mostly from the northwest at 1-3m/s”
On Sunday, “will hold sunny weather and partially kill them. Minimum temperatures will move between 11-16 degrees Celsius, while the maximum of the day is projected to move between 25-30 degrees Celsius. It will blow from the northwest direction at 1-4m/s”, the IHMK said.
Despite the decline in maximum temperatures this weekend, the institute says the UV index remains high, so IKSHP advice remains in force for the coming days. /Periscope/
