In various circles such as Berat, Gjirokastra, Fier, Elbasan, Tirana, Durres, Shkodra, Korca and Vlora, reported fires have been neutralised in the short term. A fire vat was also extinguished at the children's house “Zyber Hallul” in Tirana, without human damage, only material, reports Top Channel.
Some 20 acres [32 ha] of vegetation, including oak, nuts, and olives, have been burned as a result of fires. 85 fire vehicles, 557 operational forces and an Armed Forces helicopter participated in the evacuation operations.
The Genocency Institute envisions high risk levels in Lezha, Durres, Tirana and Fieri counties for the present day, while in other risk circles it is expected to be moderate.
Authorities appeal for maximum citizens' care due to high temperatures and fire risk. /Periscopi/
