Vjosa Osmani does not invite Atifete Jahjaga to Forum

Radio Duagjini has also asked Presidency officials Bekim Kupina, Vjosa Osmani media adviser, has said Jahjaga has received the invitation, but has provided no evidence of such a statement.

This absence of Atifete Jahjaga at this forum has been commented by former Kosovo diplomat Ylber Hysa.

According to him, the former president's absence in such forms is completely meaningless.

Kosovo has had to pride itself on having given women priority to high state positions. But when a woman president denies another woman president, the problem of Kosovo society is not the disrespect of Kosovo society towards women. Jahjaga meets all criteria for being in this position. Jahjaga is invited to all similar organisations held outside Kosovo, and is not invited here, this is pointless” says Hysa.
